We’re excited to announce that Kite Addict Colombia is now an OceanPulse Certified Active Stewardship Partner, joining a global network of watersports centers committed to creating a cleaner, healthier future for our oceans.
What is OceanPulse?
OceanPulse is an international initiative that brings together kitesurfing, wing foiling, surfing, diving, and other watersports businesses to actively protect the environments where they operate.
Rather than simply raising awareness, OceanPulse encourages real, measurable action through environmental education, waste reduction, community engagement, and conservation initiatives.
Our Commitment
As an OceanPulse Certified Active Stewardship Partner, Kite Addict Colombia commits to:
- Educating every beginner through a short environmental awareness briefing before their first lesson.
- Reducing avoidable single-use plastics at our kite center.
- Organizing regular beach clean-ups and community events in Mayapo.
- Supporting responsible tourism that respects the Wayuu culture and the unique ecosystem of La Guajira.
- Measuring and sharing our environmental impact to inspire positive change throughout the global watersports community.
